American Sports Data, Inc. was founded by its current
president, Harvey Lauer, in 1983. Prior to forming ASD, Mr. Lauer was Senior Research
Analyst at the Public Agenda Foundation, a public policy research organization founded by
Daniel Yankelovich and Cyrus Vance in 1975. A former Commissioned Officer in the U.S.
Army, Mr. Lauer holds a masters degree in psychology from the New School for Social
