A national consumer mail panel survey of 25,000 adults and children was conducted in January 2003. Recreational sports statistics include demographics, psychographics, geography, plus attitudinal and behavioral information, culled from the annual Superstudy® of Sports Participation. This study tracks an unprecedented 103 individual sports/activities (and from other sources) including recreational sports research, with tracking data spanning 1987-present.
